IICT 2026 will take place on October 2 and 3 at the A. V. Rama Rao Auditorium in the Chemical Sciences Building at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. Whether you're flying, taking a train or coming by road, here's how to reach IISc and find the venue.

Kempegowda International Airport (BLR)
~35 kmYou can find prepaid taxis or book a cab through apps like Uber, Ola, Namma Yatri and Rapido.
If you're taking a bus from the airport, Tata Institute is the nearest stop to the campus.

IICT is committed to fostering the compiler community among students and ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent participation in our workshop.
Travel assistance was offered to current undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students attending IICT 2026, with requests reviewed by the Program Committee chairs. Applications for the 2026 edition are now closed.
The scheme is expected to run again for the next edition. Write to support@compilertech.org if you would like to be told when it opens.

Register for the workshop
Entry was open to registered attendees only. Registration closed on 28 September 2026, four days before the workshop.
Watch for your welcome email
Every registered attendee received an email with their entry instructions from 28 September 2026 onwards, which doubled as their pass at the gate.
At the gate
Campus security checked each attendee's ID and welcome email before they went on to the check-in desk. What people were asked to carry:
- A government photo ID: Driver's License, Student ID, Aadhaar or Passport.
- Your welcome email or registration confirmation on your phone.
- If you have registered at the student rate, bring your student ID for verification.
- If you used the ACM member rate, bring your ACM ID for verification.
